Many times we talk about today I am feeling very low, I don't feel confident, I can't do anything
. Self esteem is opinion we have about ourselves.
When we have healthy self-esteem, we tend to feel positive about ourselves and about life in general. It
makes us better able to deal with life's ups and downs.
When our self-esteem is low, we tend to see ourselves and our life in a more negative and critical light. We
also feel less able to take on the challenges that life throws at us.
How to build self esteem
Practice self-compassion: Be kind and understanding towards yourself. Acknowledge that nobody is perfect,
and it's okay to make mistakes.
Identify your strengths: Recognize your unique abilities and talents. Focus on your strengths
Set realistic goals: Set achievable goals for yourself and celebrate your progress, no matter how small.
Avoid comparing yourself to others: Everyone has their own journey, and comparing yourself to others can
lead to feelings of inadequacy.
Surround yourself with positive influences: Spend time with supportive and uplifting people who appreciate
and value you for who you are.
Learn from failures: Instead of seeing failure as a reflection of your worth
Accept compliments gracefully: When someone compliments you, accept it with gratitude.
Remember that building self-esteem is an ongoing process, and it's normal to have ups and downs. Be patient
